Accessibility statement

How accessible this website is, including where it currently falls short.

Our commitment

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA across this website and the client portal. Accessibility is designed in and tested with a keyboard and a screen reader, not only with an automated scanner.

What we have done

The following are built in rather than retrofitted.

  • Semantic landmarks, correct heading structure and a skip link on every page.
  • Visible focus indication on every interactive element, and full keyboard operation including the navigation menus and the mobile drawer.
  • Form labels tied to their controls, help and error text wired through aria-describedby, and an error summary that receives focus on a failed submit.
  • Complete reduced-motion equivalents: every animation resolves to its end state rather than hiding content.
  • Support for increased contrast preferences, zoom to 200% and reflow at 320px.
  • No reliance on colour, motion, hover or pointer position alone to convey meaning.

Known limitations

We publish these rather than omitting them. This list is maintained as issues are found and fixed.

  • A full independent accessibility audit has not yet been carried out; current conformance is based on our own testing.
  • Screen-reader testing to date has covered the primary journeys rather than every page and state.
  • Some long data tables in the staff area have not yet been reviewed for responsive reflow at the smallest breakpoints.

Telling us about a problem

If you find something on this site that you cannot use, email accessibility@nellalabs.com describing what you were trying to do. We treat accessibility defects as defects, not as enhancement requests, and we will tell you when it is fixed.
