We are a small team doing work that carries real consequences — public services, payment systems, children's data. That shapes who we look for and how we hire.

If your work overlaps what we do — product engineering, platform, applied AI, service design, security — send us something you built and a paragraph about the hardest decision in it. We read those properly, and we reply either way.

What we look for
Beyond the stack
- Judgement about when to be rigorous and when to be deliberately, temporarily cheap — and the ability to write down which one you chose and why.
- Comfort saying "I do not know" in front of a client, and then finding out.
- Care about the states nobody demos: loading, empty, error, permission denied.
- Willingness to disagree with a decision, including ours, with a reason attached.
- Interest in what happens after launch. We run what we build, and that changes how you design.
How we hire
Four steps, no surprises
- 01
A conversation
Forty-five minutes about what you have worked on and what you want next. No whiteboard, no trick questions.
- 02
Something real
We look at work you have already done, or set a short exercise close to the actual job. Take-home work is paid, and time-boxed to something reasonable.
- 03
Working session
A session with two people from the team on a problem like one we are currently facing. You should be able to tell us we are wrong.
- 04
Decision
We decide within a week and tell you either way, with a reason. If we say no we will tell you what would change it.
